12:30-1:30 Business meeting and voting for Officers and Chapter Constitution Revisions
Courtney Pasco, a graduate student of French Education at SUNY Oswego will be giving us an overview of and strategies applicable with Google Earth, with a special focus on the timeline of the Berlin Wall, just in time for Deutschlandjahr and the 30th anniversary of the fall of the wall. This is something that can be used in all levels of German instruction.
Also on the agenda is a broader conversation/brainstorming opportunity to plan for the anniversary in our classrooms.
In terms of Chapter business, we have been asked to update our constitution every five years, and have done so this January, so members will be voting on these revisions at that meeting. Here is a link to the revisions:
Lastly, we will vote for the positions of Vice President and a Secretary of our local chapter, and then we will be turning the presidential reins over to most capable Mona Eikel-Pohen.
Please let Kate Stewart know if you will be attending. eiskate@twcny.rr.com
