Light Breakfast: 9:00 a.m.
Workshop: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30-12:00 p.m.
Chapter Business Meeting:12:00-12:30

Presenter: Herr Christopher Gwin, Haddonfield High School, Haddonfield
New Jersey

Herr Gwin is a German teacher in the Philadelphia area who will be presenting several valuable insights on ways we can develop/improve our dwindling German numbers. German advocacy is an important part of being a German educator as we all know, but do we all know the best ways to deal with lowered numbers of students and the approach of many school districts to retiring German teachers, which is to simply cut the programs, reducing the choices for our potential students? Then there is also the argument from parents, that German is so difficult. During this presentation we will learn how to best handle these commonly recurring problems we are facing today. Using these ideas, we can all face this Spring with a renewed sense of purpose and work toward improving our numbers and reducing the ignorance we are facing.

Please plan on bringing $6-7 for lunch and please RSVP with numbers for food planning.
