CNYAATG Fall Workshop - den 21. September, 2013
In a swap-shop format, members of the CNY AATG presented best practice methods, games, and techniques that had proven to be fun or of interest students as well as solid reinforcement for grammatical, writing or speaking skills.
Missy H. explains and manipulates her creation of a visually based sentence structure.
Ana D. shows how she integrates short, thought provoking videos in even the beginning levels of German to entice students to speak about, write about and work with vocabulary and idioms.
Lou Lou D. talks about a vocabulary drill game in which students wear headbands and have to ask questions to guess the designated vocabulary word.
Richard E. describes a Smartboard grid game that works students vocabulary, sentence structure and word order and is also fun.
Ben G. describes "Alibi" a murder mystery type oral game that demands role play and question asking.
